西班牙人在正式社交場合通常穿保守式樣的西裝，內穿白襯衫，打領帶。他們喜歡黑色，因此一般穿黑色的皮鞋。西班牙女性外出有戴耳環的習俗，否則會被視為沒有穿衣服一般被人嘲笑。另外，西班牙有的地方的婦女喜歡將捕捉到的螢火蟲用薄紗包起來。

儀態禮儀：當地女性有“扇語”，如當婦女打開扇子，把臉的下部遮起來，意思是：我是愛你的，你喜歡我嗎？若一會兒打開一會兒合上，則表示：我很想念你。因此初到西班牙的女人，如果不瞭解扇語，最好不要使用扇子。

The hand fan reached the heights of it's splendor in nineteenth century Europe, particularly in Spain. The first hand fan in Spain dates from 1802 in Valencia and quickly became a must have among upper class women. Fans were hand crafted and hand painted with the most delicate motifs depicted on the garment.

The hand fan is not just decoration, it is a trade mark of Spain, and it became part of Spanish culture, and of course, a cheap way to keep cool in the heat.

相見禮儀：西班牙人通常在正式社交場合與客人相見時，行握手禮和吻禮。與熟人相見時，男朋友之間常緊緊地擁抱。西班牙人的姓名常有三四節，前一二節為本人姓名，倒數第二節為父姓，最後一節為母姓。通常口頭稱呼稱父姓。

餐飲禮儀：西班牙人的主食以麵食為主，也吃米飯，喜食酸辣味的食品，一般不吃過份油膩和鹹味太重的菜。早餐習慣吃酸牛奶，水果，午餐和晚餐通常要喝啤酒，葡萄酒或白蘭地酒，飯後則喝咖啡及吃水果。

商務禮儀：西班牙人很重視信譽，總是盡可能地履行簽訂的合約，即便後來發現合約中有對他們不利的地方，他們也不願公開承認自己的過失。如在這種情況下，對方能夠善意地幫助他們，則會贏得西班牙人的尊重與友誼。西班牙人只有在參加鬥牛比賽活動時才嚴守時間，但客人應當守時，即便對方晚到，也不要加以責怪。

主要禁忌：在西班牙，不要對鬥牛活動有非議，如果你對情況不瞭解，最好不要對鬥牛活動發表任何意見。到西班牙人家中作客，可送上鮮花，他們最喜愛石榴花。
